Today there are 8 deliveries or about $400 to you. We work all year and deliver as far as 50 miles though 90% are within Greensboro. If you live close to Bryan Park you would find this to be a good job. You need to have a reliable PICKUP truck comparable to a F150 or F250 or F350 with an 8' longbed or 6' highsides. You'll need to remove a toolbox if you have one in the bed. No trailers, no box trucks. Pickup only. F250/2500 Dump Pickup is ideal. Mellow Job. You're just working with one guy sometimes. 90% independent. Work efficiently but there's no pressure or meetings. You need to be strong without injuries and have a spotless record. Good reading required. You need a good phone for Google Maps and detailed texting of customer instructions. You'll be doing Firewood Deliveries. Distance based fees. Deliveries are $45 for a full load within 10 miles then $1.20/mile additional. PLUS $20/hr to carry and stack if requested. Often TIPS if you are smart, nice and helpful. If there are no deliveries you would work onsite stacking firewood or landscaping for $11/hr. Think of this as an $11 job with huge bonuses. Follow this simple instruction: Measure the inside of your bed before texting me - length, width and height of sidewalls. Include your name and the measurements in inches.
