NWES is now looking for Sanitation employees! Summary Cleans and sanitizes the production facility and equipment used in production. Pay Rate: $16.50/hr Location: Hillsboro, OR Shift: Sunday-Friday 11pm-7am Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Cleans and sanitizes the production facility and equipment according to food safety guidelines. • Dismantles and reassembles production equipment for cleaning. • Uses chemicals in proper concentration according to company guidelines. • Properly labels and maintains all chemicals. • Disconnect machinery power source for repair. • Removes garbage from building and transport to dumpster. • Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. • Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility. Working Conditions • Refrigerated food manufacturing plant. • The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F. • Frequent exposure to hazardous material and waste. • Repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with items in excess of 60 lbs is required. • Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities.
