This is our next level Carbine Class, extremely fast paced. Class is designed to build on the base skills taught in the PC Level 1 Class Practical Carbine Level 2. PC Level 1 is a prerequisite but not a guarantee. This course adds stress shooting, timed events and real-world scenarios to enhance a student’s ability to perform in a life and death encounter. This program is very physical, you will need to be able to run, kneel, and get up from the ground while maintaining muzzle discipline with your weapon. cost for this 7 hour class is $175.00, and a $25.00 range fee is due the morning of class in cash. Topics covered: • Firearms safety • Confirmation of zero • Review of rifle marksmanship • Defensive mindset • Malfunctions • Reloads • Movement • Shooting while moving • Rapid target identification, and acquisition • Multiple threat engagements, right, left and rear • Movement to, and use of cover, including vehicles • Transition to secondary weapon • Introduction to team movement, and communication Equipment needed: • AR platform or AK platform rifle. NO binary triggers or bump stocks. • 500 rounds of your rifle caliber, and 50 rounds of pistol. • Side arm with a good OWB holster • At least 3 magazines, more if low cap. • 1,2, or 3 point sling for your weapon • Belt mag carrier or chest rig/plate carrier • Appropriate clothing and footwear, brimmed hats are highly encouraged, consider the weather • All range PPE Knee pads are required.
