Full Time Remodel Pro Wanted

Jobs

Killeen TX

Description

I am looking for a well-rounded worker to help out with residential rehab and make ready. I do rental and flip properties (mostly in Killeen & Cove) and am looking for someone to help with all of the things that don’t justify bringing in a sub. I am typically on-site during work hours but as time goes on you will be tasked with working independently. Basic examples of the tasks include drywall repair, demo, painting, flooring & trim install, removing/replacing toilets, exterior carpentry, hanging doors, home depot runs, pressure washing, hanging fans, masonry repair, yard work, cabinet install, etc. AVAILABLE WORK Work is full time (35 to 45 hours) and I would like to find someone who is a good fit long-term to grow with us. We can work around a schedule if you have other work *but* most work is Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm and at this point I am really only looking for someone who would do this as their main gig. ABOUT YOU The right person for this is reliable, communicates well and is able to be on time and work a full day. We work a small crew so showing up every day is pretty crucial. Minimal drama, minimal broken vehicles, no drugs, etc. You must have a truck (and be willing to occasionally haul sheet goods, make dump runs, etc) and basic hand and power tools and expect to use them while on site. You must have above average experience in a few areas of construction and remodeling but I’m pretty flexible with what those are so long as they fit our needs. Bonus points for electrical or plumbing experience! Honestly, knowing everything about everything isn’t the most important thing to me *but* attention to detail, good attitude, willingness to learn and caring about a job well done is a must. We do good work and take time to make sure things are right. Bottom line: reasonable skills, flexibility and a “can do” attitude go a long way with me. I will say that if the tasks listed above are a stretch then it probably wouldn't be a great match. DETAILS/PAY Pay is $18 an hour to start and there is definitely potential for more responsibility, higher hourly or possibly salary pretty quickly if everything is working out. Employment is contract/1099 (you won’t be an employee) and you will need to be able to fill out a W-9 (ID & SS#). Pay is typically at the end of the week if working multiple days but I’m flexible as reasonable. APPLY Please TEXT or EMAIL your name and basic info (experience, availability, etc) to Dom at (512) 961-9943 and if things seem like a reasonable fit I will reach out and we can talk. Please do not call.
