Hello. We have a gig coming up and would like to have a keyboardist onboard. Semi-established solo act but have backed some cool people over the years on guitar and bass. Influences (including those listed in the headline): Morphine, Syd Barrett, Pink Floyd, PJ Harvey, early Funkadelic, Tindersticks, Television, The Gun Club, Thin White Rope, Bonnie Prince Billy, Guy Clark, Michael Nesmith, Elvis Costello, Marc Ribot, Richard Thompson, Nels Cline, latter Depeche Mode, Josh T Pearson, T Rex, Lou Reed etc. I love jazz and am sometimes am accused of playing “jazz guitar” when I very much can’t. But it has influenced me. (I liken it/my style to Chaplin doing fake German in “The Great Dictator”.) And, in my experiences, having a jazz artist play within a rock/psyche outfit is awesome. So, please, if you are concerned about being from that realm and are not sure of what you’d bring to this- dismiss those notions immediately and message. And please do send this to somebody who might be a good fit/interested as who the fuc even reads Craigslist anymore? Thank you.
