Jim Rooney and Colin McCaffrey welcome Bob & Sarah Amos on Friday, Jan. 21, 7pm. Seven Stars Arts Center continues our monthly music series hosted by Jim Rooney and Colin McCaffrey: Fridays with Rooney & McCaffrey, which runs every third Friday of the month. January 21st at 7 pm they welcome Bob and Sarah Amos. In recent years Bob has headed up the popular Vermont Bluegrass band Catamount Crossing. Now Bob has teamed up with his daughter Sarah to present an exciting and varied program of Americana and Bluegrass original and traditional songs, with intricate guitar instrumentation and soulful, soaring vocal harmonies. Come on out and enjoy another fine evening of music and stories! Grammy winning producer Jim Rooney is best known for his work with Nanci Griffith, John Prine, Iris DeMent, and Hal Ketchum, to name a few. For over 50 years Jim partnered with the legendary banjo player Bill Keith, recording several landmark recordings together. Colin McCaffrey, Vermont producer and award- winning songwriter has become a regional “one-stop-shop” for high quality audio production, as well as heading up long time Vermont favorite band The Stone Cold Roosters and winning various song competitions including the prestigious Chris Austin Songwriting Contest. www.jimrooneyproductions.com ​www.colinmccaffrey.com ​Ticket cost: $15.00 Children 12 and under - free. Doors open at 6:30. Please arrive by 6:45, that will help us with the time we need to check vaccination cards and IDs, and get everyone seated by 7 pm. Thank you! Total seating will be limited to 45 people. We are requiring proof of all COVID vaccinations (14 days past vaccination shot) for which you are eligible, meaning boosters if it has been sufficient time since your last shot. Please also bring a Photo ID. Masks are still required. Children 5 and older are now eligible for vaccination. Beginning February 1, 2022 we will be requiring proof of vaccination for them as well. Children must also wear masks. If you choose to not order your ticket here, please know that because the Fridays with Rooney & McCaffrey are selling out very quickly, we are limiting the seating and we cannot hold seats for folks to then pay at the door.
