Webformix is a locally owned and operated Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) based out of Bend, Oregon. We service Bend, Redmond, Prineville, Madras, Powell Butte, Juniper Acres, Crooked River Ranch, Three Rivers, Culver, Terrebonne, Sisters and other outlying areas. We also service Grants Pass, and the surrounding area. Job Position: Wireless Internet Service Field Installer and Tower Technician Job Description: This is a dual role and a full-time position. Most of the time, you will visit new and existing customer sites across Central Oregon to install and/or repair wireless internet service equipment. Occasionally, some consulting/troubleshooting for clients’ home networks. Roughly two to six days a month, you will assist our Project Manager at tower sites, climbing to install cable runs, antennas, and transmitters. Minimum Job Requirements: - 2 years working experience - Must be comfortable, personable, and professional while interacting with customers. - Must have some construction experience. Should be handy with tools, power tools, and have the ability to work in/on customer’s homes in a professional manner. Must be comfortable with heights, and working on roofs in all weather conditions. - Strong work ethic. - Must have basic computer and networking skills. Must have a basic understanding of TCP/IP networking with computers and home routers. Must have basic internet troubleshooting skills. - Responsible driving record. - Ability to lift 50lbs. - Occasional travel to Grants Pass with our Project Manager to maintain tower sites in Southern Oregon Other useful, but not necessary skills: - Knowledge of the Central Oregon area, and its buttes and mountains. - Tower climbing experience/Certificate - Willingness to work on weekends if necessary - Previous experience with a Wireless Internet Provider Benefits include: Vehicle and tools provided for installations during work hours, health insurance, life insurance, 3% Simple IRA match, PTO, free home Internet service if in our service area, and other incentives.
