South Carolina's Longest running Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade! Although we have been faced with an unprecedented year, we are going forward with the planning of our annual Western York County Branch of the NAACP’s (WYCONAACP) 41st Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Parade. The Western York County NAACP’s MLK, Jr. Parade is the longest running MLK, Jr. Day Parade in the State! This year’s parade will be held on Saturday, January,15, 2022 at 1 PM in York, South Carolina. During this year’s event, we will be following strict COVID-19 protocol (see attached). The public and participants are REQUIRED to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. This year we will feature the renowned South Carolina State University Marching 101 as well as many other local high school and college bands and drum lines.
