Jack is a tri-color Australian Shepard Mix. 48% Australian Shepard, 15% Siberian Husky, 14% Labrador Retriever (see attached pic) Jack was born approximately Nov 15, 2020 and is 56 pounds (weighed at vet's office 11/8/21). Very friendly, not aggressive. He is VERY active and we can not give him as much exercise and stimulation as he needs. We had his DNA done and it is attached. We have had him since 2/25/2021. Jack was neutered and chipped on 12/8/21. The chip registration change is free. He can not tolerate being in a small kennel. He is fine in a 10 foot by 5 foot outdoor kennel or confined to a smaller room or area. He has been around another dog at times and they played well together, so I believe that he would be fine with other dogs. I have no idea about cats. He sheds. His shots are current and through March, 2022 and vet records will be passed along. He is on Heartgard as a heartworm preventative and NexGard for flea and tick prevention. We have his heartworm preventative and flea & tick meds through May, 2022. I want to find a good active home for Jack. He is not an alpha. He is NOT a watchdog - too friendly and not a barker at people. Other dogs he barks at and horses fascinate him. He does like to play in water. He will come with bowls, toys and whatever food we have on hand at the time of the transfer. Can meet perspective new owners at Hidden Lake Park in Merrillville, IN or Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point, IN or at another agreed on location in the area.
