SOMERVILLE, MA — A bullet was found in a playground in Somerville after it was fired through a car window Monday morning. The playground on Marshall Street was closed as police taped off the scene to investigate the shooting. Somerville police did not immediately release a statement on the shooting, but NBC10 reported a man in his 70s was in the car when the bullet went through it, nearly hitting him. Patch reached out to the Somerville Police Department but has not heard back. A woman on Marshall St in Somerville says her father was shot at this morning while in his car, getting ready to drive to work. The bullets narrowly missed him, but went straight through the car windows.
