NANUET, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation is advising Rockland County motorists that one lane of the northbound and southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway is expected to close Tuesday.
The work will be done between Exit 8W (US Route 59) and Exit 10 (Middletown Road) between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Dec. 28 to facilitate inspection work, weather permitting.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual's driver license.
