YONKERS, NY — The names of the victims in Sunday's fatal crash on the Saw Mill River Parkway have been released, along with new details about the high-speed traffic accident. The driver of a 2019 Lincoln SUV, who was killed, has been identified as Adolph Cintron Jr. from Brooklyn, by Westchester County Police. The 57-year-old was headed southbound in the far left lane of the highway, according to investigators. His vehicle was launched airborne after hitting the concrete barrier at a spot where there is a small opening for use by emergency vehicles. The Lincoln SUV flipped over and landed on its roof on the hood of another SUV that was coming northbound. The 40-year-old Bronx man's wife and teenage daughter were in the 2017 Hyundai SUV with him at the time of the accident. They both suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials. The driver of the third vehicle, which was also traveling northbound, was injured when a secondary collision occurred after the initial accident. Authorities are still investigating what caused Cintron to lose control of his SUV.
