New Hours For Cove Island COVID-19 Testing Site This Week

STAMFORD, CT — The city of Stamford has announced new hours for the Sema4 COVID-19 testing site at Cove Island Park this week. From Dec. 27 through Dec. 31, the site will operate from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The site will be closed on Jan. 1 and will re-open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 2. The site was moved from Stamford High School to Cove Island Park last week to allow for more room and access. Long lines and traffic snarled area roads near the high school last week ahead of the Christmas holiday. However, the new location has also experienced long lines. The site has paused multiple times each day due to vehicle capacity restrictions.
