GERMANTOWN, MD — Montgomery County Police identified a man who was shot and killed inside a Germantown home last week as Jahandar Rahman Darvish, 25. Police got calls around 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 23 that there were multiple shots fired on the 19300 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown. When officers got to the house, they found Darvish inside with gunshot wounds. Cops said there is no suspect in custody, and they believe this is an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070 or 240-773-TIPS or contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). There may be a reward of up to $10,000 for anyone with information that leads to the arrest of a suspect, MCP said.
