Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 12/27/2021 5:00 AM 12/26/21 2021-3677, Aggravated Battery: On 12/26/21 at approximately 8:44 p.m., sheriff's deputies took a report for aggravated battery at the Kendall County Jail after a deputy was spit on by an inmate.  Jaquarance Handley, a 32-year-old male from the 900 block of Bluebell Circle in Joliet, was charged with aggravated battery.  He remains in custody at the Kendall County Jail. 2021-3677, Aggravated Battery: 2021-3678, DWLS: On 12/26/2021 at approximately 9:23 p.m., sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Fernwood Road and Hunter Drive in Oswego Township.  The driver of the vehicle, Ramon Paiz, a 33-year-old male from the 0-99 block of Bereman Road in Montgomery, was cited for driving while license was suspended and speeding.  Paiz was issued a recognizance bond. The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
