Rehoming male dog...

His name is Prom and he's a pure bred Siberian HU5KY, no papers. Been fostering him for a couple months now. He was skin and bones when I got him and now he is filled out, happy and healthy and ready for his next and hopefully permanent home. He's intact, about 2 years old, no health problems. - Fully house broken, good house manners, crate trained but paces and whines a lot when in the crate. - Doesn't get along with other male dogs, but is best friends with a German Shepherd female I'm also fostering. - Food aggressive if anyone comes around him if he's eating or has a chew toy or treat or something. -Always needs to be in a fenced yard or leashed to a harness or a anti-pull collar. He will run off if not on a leash. His negatives can be managed if someone has the mindset to do so. Would be best to be an only dog, but even better in a house with another female dog to play with. Not sure about children, cats or other animals. He does like to try to chase deer though. Given his issues it's not a good idea to have him unattended around cats, kids or other animals. He's a sweet boy otherwise. Loves walks/runs of course. Haven't ever taken him to a dog park. He doesn't like to be hugged or snuggled unless he really likes you.
