Description
National Honor Society and Peer Leaders teamed up to facilitate a school-wide holiday food drive. The food drive ran from December 6 - 17. Classrooms served as drop off/collection locations so students could bring food items right to their first period class for donation. Food donations were also collected at several sporting and co-curricular events during the month of December.
Winners at each campus include South Campus English teacher Brad Anderson with 421 items and North Campus science teacher Angie Patel with 104 items.
A thank you to all classes who collected more than 100 items:
Brad Anderson – 421 (South Campus) Abby Shapland – 296 (South Campus) David Hartley/John Musick – 153 (South Campus) Angie Patel – 104 (North Campus) The winning classroom received the coveted canned good trophy and the top collecting classroom at each campus got to "pie" Principal Tyrrell – all for a good cause.
