Woman Shot On Hickory Street In Crest Hill

CREST HILL, IL — The Crest Hill Police Department announced that a woman was shot around 5 a.m. Sunday, in the 1900 block of Hickory Street. The woman's injuries were not considered life-threatening, and she is expected to recover, Crest Hill Police Chief Ed Clark announced in Sunday night's news release. Joliet police were helping Crest Hill officers in hopes of identifying the gunman.
