Press release from Batavia Public School District 101: December 27, 2021 Wednesday, December 22, 2021 (Archivo de mensajes en español) Dear BPS101 Families- First and foremost, we would like to wish all of our staff, families, and students a successful close to 2021. May the holidays be a time to wind down, relax, and find peace. Here is some end of the year information: 2022-23 School Calendar At the Board of Education meeting last night, the Board approved the school calendar for the 2022-23 school year. Building Our Future Together The Board of Education has charged BPS101 administration to create a Facilities Team that consists of community members to facilitate Community Engagement Sessions to gather feedback from the broader Batavia community on the Building Our Future Together plan. The Facilities Team is made up of 20 community members and they met for the first time this week. The team will meet again in early January to make a plan to engage the community at five planned Community Engagement Sessions, the first is planned for Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Details on these sessions are still being developed. In the meantime, if you would like to make sure you hear about the upcoming sessions, please fill out this FORM to get on our email list. Snow Days for 2021-22 (Reminder) As we approach the time of the year when winter storms and extreme temperatures are likely, you might want to review our emergency closing information. During the 2021-22 school year, we may pivot to a remote learning day rather than closing schools. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.  Winter Break (Reminder) Our winter break starts tomorrow, December 23rd and classes will resume on Monday, January 10th.
