Shortly before 7 p.m. on December 26, officers responded to the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located Errol Gordon suffering from life-threatening shooting injuries, which he succumbed to.   The preliminary investigation indicates there was a confrontation between two males at this location before the shooting occurred. A person of interest was detained at the scene, and detectives are continuing to investigate this case.
