TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Northport man was killed in a motorcycle wreck Sunday afternoon on Alabama Highway 171, roughly 12 miles north of the city of Northport. Holemon, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene after the 1996 Harley Davidson he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree around 4:55 p.m. No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the crash.
