I'm a professional drummer with 15 years of stage experience looking to fill in for full band gigs when your drummer needs the night off or when you're in transition between drummers. I have a regular band and not looking for a change, just want to play out more. I prefer cover bands and have been in rock, country, metal, and pop groups. I'm comfortable playing to large crowds, have shared the stage with many national acts, have pro gear including my own mics and a drum riser if needed, and I know how to prepare and learn a setlist quickly and with minimal to no band rehearsals. Musicians I've worked with describe me as solid, consistent with tempo, and say I make tasteful playing choices. My skill level is advanced with grooves, fills, transitions, and dynamics but I'm not a flashy drummer. I serve each song, the song does not serve me. I'd prefer a month preparation for a standard 4 hr cover band show, but I can be ready on short notice if there's a lot of 'jukebox songs' in your setlist. My rate for western/central WI and Eastern MN (within 120 miles of my home) is the greater between $150 or one equal share of band member pay.
