Bear is an impressive 1 yr old intact AKC registerable German Shepherd whose owner passed away. He is too much to handle for the owner's widow so she has asked me to help find a suitable home for him. He is crate trained and house broken and lives both indoors and out. Although very friendly and attentive, he is very powerful and energetic and can be pushy so not suitable for a home with young children. He grew up with another male dog but has not been exposed to other animals. Has had some professional training but will need a strong assertive leader to reach his maximum potential. He needs and wants a job, so he would be an excellent prospect for someone who wants to train him further in obedience, agility, weight pull, or any other dog sport. Potential adopters will be screened. Re-homing fee is commensurate to his quality and potential. Serious inquiries only!
