Professional, fun, upbeat, grooming salon and daycare looking for our next dog bather. The candidate who obtains this position may also have one of our coveted overnight shifts each week (if so desired). Overnight shifts make $143/night before taxes. This role entails completing feedings, cleaning and then sleeping with the dogs in a queen size bed. We currently have between 2 to 4 adorable four legged boarding clients at a time. There is potential for more overnight shifts to come. Prior animal handling experience preferred but not required. We are more than willing to train the right person WE OFFER Flexible hours, and an extremely supportive environment in our bright, clean salon. We also promise to consistently work on making your work experience a positive one. Bather compensation is $13.50 per hour plus tips. If you are looking to become a full service bather and make a higher rate, we can teach you! Or… Bather compensation is $13.50 per hour plus tips. Bathers who excel at their role at Hound Lounge and are looking to become full service bathers and make a higher hourly rate, may request to advance. We will train the right candidate! The overnight shift entails feeding 2 to 5 dogs and then facility cleaning. The overnight caregiver may sleep in our brand new queen size bed after the dogs in his or her care have retired for the night. As a Hound Lounge bather you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safe handling of our four legged clients. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMENE WHO IS Confident interacting with large and small dog breeds. Committed to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our four legged clients. Responsible, caring and reliable. Experience with nail clip/dremeling, clipping pads, sanitary area a plus and a way to make extra pay but not required. We are happy to train the right applicant.
