Small in-home Montessori-inspired family daycare/play school in colony park neighborhood, near PH Bart. 1 full time opening for toddler Hours: 8-530 Total children in care: 6, 3 girls/2boys, ages 20 months to 3yrs (plus 1 opening) Totally caregivers: 1 FT, 1 PT/assistant With safe access to almost all of the home, babies and toddlers feel free and at home here at The ELIE House. Large backyard for outdoor play each day. We do a mix of free play and focused play, based on each child’s interests. We do dance parties, science projects, art projects, story time, music time, rowdy play, relax time, kindness time, water play, neighborhood walks, food prepping and more! We learn about the basics including colors, shapes, numbers, animals, plus things like holidays, friendships, nature, space, independence, confidence, diversity… For more advanced learning, we emphasize: -Early language immersion and enrichment (ELIE) to help develop early speaking and communication skills -Interpersonal skills amongst peers in a group -Introduction to Spanish -Reading practice We follow the covid mask requirements while in care (2yrs+ wear masks). We check for temperatures daily and get covid tested with any sign of symptoms such as runny nose or coughing. We have 1 full time caregiver (owner) and one part time caregiver/assistant. All are vaccinated. We’re closed federal holidays. We’re a small group of families with good communication and collaboration. We’d love to find a great fit for our little community here!
