Operations Manager Full Time, Monday – Friday 9AM – 5PM, Flex Excellent Career Opportunity Available in Plainview! Feel good about what you do! The Family Supports Services provides respite programs that support children and adults. The Operations Manager will serve as a liaison to other departments including Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Human Resources, Payroll and all other departments directly involved with the functioning of FSS. This person will coordinate all aspects of FSS management utilizing the database system to ensure that all the required documentation, billing, procedures are accurate and processed in a timely manner. We offer you: • Industry competitive salary • Low-cost high-quality benefits package • College Loan Forgiveness • A diverse, inclusive team that will support and guide you every day • Opportunities to advance your career with management mentoring • Employee Recognition – you’ll be appreciated!! • Wellness incentives – weight loss, yoga at work, gym membership & more • Cell phone discounts • Housing Assistance to purchase your first dream home – in Nassau or Suffolk In this role, you will: • Assist in the development and adherence to annual department budgets. • Utilize the database system for accurate tracking of all information. • Track all business finances to stay within budgetary guidelines. • Participate in camp operations on Long Island when necessary. • Maintain active recruitment for all FSS related operations and maintain business contacts and relationships with all FSS partnerships. • Act as liaison for all FSS programs. • Ensure that all records in the database system are organized and maintained. • Act as “point” person in communicating with the AHRC/Citizens Accounting departments regarding FSS issues. • Maintain HIPPA compliance protocol for all FSS records. • Maintain accurate records in the database system of all FSS programs. • Maintain Medicaid waiver billing records; communicate records to accounting for proper billing. • Oversee Medisked database. • Organize and implement the distribution of FSS recruitment information. • Coordinate advertising for FSS programs under the supervision of the Director/ Assistant Director. • Coordinate camper interviews with camp administrative staff. • Answer, screen and log all incoming telephone calls pertaining to camper concerns. • Performs other related duties as required by the program. We require: • High School Diploma or equivalent. BA/BS degree with specialization in management and/or foreign language or relevant job-related experience preferred. • Strong customer service and people skills preferred. • Computer literacy. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Data Base Systems. • Valid NYS Driver’s License; Maintain a qualified driver status throughout employment. • Ability to communicate and understand written and verbal directives • Team player with a positive attitude!
