Update: I've gotten many responses and have worked with one individual so far. I would like to continue this process a few more times as it's been quite helpful but I need to further place some boundaries. 1. Lyrical content and motive cannot be hateful, nationalistic, or conspiratorial. 2. I absolutely require some type of recording of your playing - Do not contact me if you're just trying to "meet up" or "get together." I'm inviting you into my space and and not risking my time or safety for this. It's not required (yet) but if you'd like to increase your odds of being selected please include some type of social media to show you're not a creep. Original Post: I've been recording drums for a little over a year now and am looking to get my chops up with vocals and other acoustic instruments. Strings and horns welcome. would possibly travel if its for a quality pianist. This would involve some amount of experimentation with different pres, mics, and mic positions, and could be collaborative. Speed is not the focus - quality is. I would get experience, and you would get a recording (tracking, not mixing or mastering). The quality of gear is fantastic and is a great opportunity for singer/songwriter types. Because this is more of a passion project I'll be vetting the music to some degree, meaning it has to be somewhat "good." This is not to be mean but it'll be easier for both of us if you can play or sing halfway decently.
