Description

Meet Toby! Toby is a 45 lb in tact male, year and a half years old, and fully updated on vaccinations. He may grow a few more pounds, but shouldn’t get bigger than 55 lbs. His mother was a miniature Great Pyrenees and his father unknown. We suspect hound dog due to his patterns, howls, and nose to the ground style of running around. Toby has a big heart and is a total cuddle bug. He has a lot of energy, has always been outdoors, and loves to fetch. He doesn’t stray from home when he gets out, but stays near by. He is loyal to his family and always excited to see them. He loves barking at coyotes to keep them away. We have reached the difficult decision to rehome him because he has not done well on a farm setting. We have had him since he was 3 months old and put time into training him, but he needs more training than we can give. He has killed chickens, chases our goats, does not get on with our other dog (he wants to be alpha), chews through collars, escapes fencing and digs holes. He is very hyper when excited to see someone and jumps and nips. Once he’s calmed down, he is happy and chill. He is great with our kids, but has not been friendly with other children until he gets to know them. We recommend he go to a home without children. Toby is a handsome and happy boy with some great qualities and would thrive with an individual who has the time to work on training with him. If you feel you could be the right home for him, please reach out! Rehoming fee of $100
