We help people make sure they have a healthy and safe place to live or work by mitigating water and mold damage to residential and commercial properties. As a Restoration Manager/Lead Technician, you are essential in providing assistance after a disaster has struck. It is your responsibility to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently while being empathetic to the customer's state of mind. As a Restoration Manager/Lead Technician, your role will be to provide coordination for all phases of mitigation projects. This includes initial inspection, customer communication, production schedule creation, supervision and training of technicians, quality assurance, job site safety, and making sure work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. A good attitude, professional work practices, and a desire to help people in their time of need are requirements for the job. Be advised, this is not always a Monday to Friday, 9-5 job! Job Responsibilities: #1 Attitude and Ethics! Offer excellent customer service, always. Represent the brand as if it were your own business. Operate a company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner Have knowledge of and perform water extraction, structural and contents drying and cleaning, mold remediation, decontamination, and demolition and debris removal according to IICRC standards. Supervise, train & develop crew members to ensure proper safety, work techniques, and procedures are being used Complete mitigation sketches, moisture mapping, and photo documentation Review project scope and schedules, completing projects on time and within budget, without compromise on quality Ensure job sites are kept looking clean and orderly Enforce OSHA safety policies on jobsite, providing key responsibility for safety and compliance in the field Attend inspections, client meetings, and other meetings as required Clean and store savable belongings and property Application of antimicrobial products. Communicate with customers about scope of work, explain the process, and obtain required signatures on pertinent documentation. Update the customer on the progress and planned completion time, when possible Be responsible for daily completion and tracking of job paperwork, timecards, checkout forms, vehicle records, and other necessary paperwork. Maintain clean, organized vehicles and equipment, ensuring you have all the supplies needed for each project Oversee inventory and place orders for materials, and be responsible for equipment and materials on job sites Be available by phone - oversee execution and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule for emergency services and after-hours work. Demonstrate dependability and efficient work practices Perform all work to meet or exceed applicable federal, state and local regulations and company and customer quality standards Use of required protective gear and appropriate attire for all work performed Experience and Qualifications: Dedication to customer service Ideally 2+ years experience as a Water/Mold Restoration Technician or comparable experience - strong foundational understanding of mitigation projects Fluent in English, with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (no DUI, reckless, etc.) Must be willing to be on call occasionally due to our 24-hour emergency services, and have the ability to work nights/weekends and overtime, if needed Ability to work safely in a construction environment Must lift heavy items up to 50lbs on a routine basis Insurance or IICRC Certifications are considered an asset Keys to success: Customer Focus Communication Skills Leadership Skills Desire to continually learn new things Teamwork Show up with a professional appearance and a positive attitude Time Management Adaptability / Flexibility Problem Solving Accountability and Dependability Ethics and Integrity Attention to Detail What We Offer Ability to make a difference for someone in a hard spot Work with a growing company Advancement opportunities Competitive pay Bonus opportunities Paid time off Holiday pay Professional development assistance Paid training Company vehicle provided during working hours
