Hello, If you're passionate about creative music and love to explore sounds beyond cultural boundaries this might be a great opportunity for you. The type of music we do primarily consists of South Asian music while exploring English and other areas too as we progress. The idea is to take old tunes and recreate them in a beautiful way with instruments typical to a band but also tapping into instruments like tabla, sitar, flute, santoor etc. (East versus West kinda thing : ) We are primarily looking from someone with strings experience in cello or violin etc...who will enhance our music and give more feel to our production. Our music is generally simple and so are the charts. The music we do is quite versatile that can span from soft rock to mellow jazzy type feels with some pop as well. And so the idea is to take traditional tunes and give it a fresh western fusion touch with a good amount of ambience and tastefulness. We are back at doing events while also monitoring the pandemic situation. Given there is a huge diverse population in the DMV area, the opportunity in this area is definitely HUGE. We already have a very strong team of diverse multi-cultural musicians/singers and carefully looking to expand our sound.
