Arclight Dynamics is a Bend, Oregon based company manufacturing precision CNC plasma tables since 2010. Arclight is looking to hire a responsible individual with a great attitude as the Logistics Specialist. The logistics Specialists primary role is to facilitate the timely movement of outward/inward bound products as well ensure the product is stored in an intentional and safe manner. This position may also include light duty facility/equipment maintenance. Compensation includes: monthly bonus potential, 401K, full medical and dental insurance, PTO, Paid holidays, 90 & 180 day sign on bonus. Merit based raise potential at the 90 day eval. The scope of responsibilities covered by this position includes the following duties as well as additional tasks assigned by supervisor. • Implement “best practices” packaging/securing methods, ensuring the safe transportation and delivery of our CNC plasma tables and accessories. • Package tables and accessories for national and international shipments. • Operate a forklift to load and secure CNC plasma tables inside enclosed trailers and on open trailers/step decks/Conestoga trailers. • Heat shrink-wrap tables using specialized equipment and materials. • Photograph loaded tables, upload photos to company folder. • Offload all incoming freight using forklift. • Stock all inbound components in their corresponding locations in an organized and efficient manner. • Weekly basic machine maintenance on equipment such as band saws, cnc plasma tables, ironworker, drill presses, etc. • Regular external and internal facilities upkeep and organization • Receive incoming product as well as perform quarterly inventory or cycle counts Qualified candidates should possess the following traits/skills:  Strong organization skills  Professional communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to self direct.  Previous forklift experience desired but not necessary. Company will train the right candidate.  Capable of lifting up to 75lbs on a semi-regular basis.  Must be reliable and demonstrate a solid work ethic.  Able to climb in and out of semi trailers on a regular basis.  Strong mechanical proficiency preferred Compensation DOE and includes monthly bonus potential, 401K, full medical and dental insurance, PTO, Paid holidays, 90 & 180 day sign on bonus.
