Position Summary: Family Promise of Spokane is hiring immediately for motivated janitor/maintenance person that love to clean and have a high attention to detail. The position will perform general cleaning and upkeep for our admin office and occasionally other buildings, light maintenance, snow blowing, mowing, etc...This position will ensure the building, grounds, and equipment are in a clean, orderly, and functional condition. Key Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below. The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following: Janitorial: General Clean all offices and restrooms Vacuum entire building and mop where needed, Empty trash in entire building, Clean windows once a month or as needed Dust Once a month deep cleans at other buildings or as needed Maintenance: Winter - snow removal Summer - grounds maintenance, blow out parking lots at all buildings Change light bulbs in buildings when needed Sprinkler system repair/maintenance Check and maintain air filters at all buildings each month Vacuum cleaner maintenance at all buildings Weekly building maintenance/inspections of all buildings (check door knobs, holes, trip hazards. Clean out air vents (vacuum them out along with motor) General Maintenance Skills and Attributes: High school diploma/GED 18 or older Basic cleaning skills General knowledge of power tools Drivers license and vehicle Basic maintenance skills \Working Conditions While performing the essential duties/responsibilities of this job, the employee will be exposed to : ● Performing duties both inside and outside Possible exposure to elements Possible exposure to hazardous materials
