I just found out Palm Springs doesn't allow a property owner to pull an owner/builder permit until after owning the property for two years. I didn't see this coming and have already been working on the project. I need a GC who is willing to help. Currently, there is plan check approval. This is my own condo. The job: Kitchen, Dining level. Fully gutted. Structural engineer engineered steel columns on two levels. Footing has been dug. New beam has been installed. Steel has been ordered. Walls have been built and anchored. Still need plumbing, electrical, HVAC ducting. Living Room level. Structural steel has been engineered and ordered. Some minor welding and electrical to be done. I can provide the permit set for your review.
