There are not enough bullets on the planet to shoot yourself into safety. The answer to hate is never more hate. The answer is truly the easiest of concepts to understand, but for some reason the hardest of all for humans to practice. A great teacher told us in what were possibly his last documented words: "By this, shall all men know that you are my disciples. If you love one another." John 13:35 It goes against our very natures, but ironically is what we are all called to do.
