Gentle giant desperately needs good home

Hello this big fella is a Male lab mix of some sort. I rescued him off the side of the road after almost hitting him. He is very calm and gentle. He seems to have been abused as when you move fast or raise hand he cowers along with his scars. On his neck he has markings left behind from a training collar with spikes that apparently dig into the animals throat if it pulls hard. Thos fella didn't deserve his past but hopefully you CD an make his future brighter and show him love doesn't hurt. He is great actually amazing with kids he does fine with my 5. My own dogs aren't to friendly or I would love to keep him.
