A family of five in San Francisco is searching for a long-term and part-time weekend housekeeper.
You will not need to take care or nanny our children; we just need house cleaning and occasional light cooking.
The housekeeper would work on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) but there is possibility to full-time later on.
We have a medium size house (3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths) that needs light housekeeping.
Our house is located in the Inner Sunset of San Francisco.
We are an easy-going, caring and friendly family with three kids ages 16, 11 and 6 years old. Our kids are very well-behaved and listen well.
Our last housekeeper worked with us for 14 years before having to leave and take care of her sick husband and new grandchild.
Here are the main responsibilities:
- Vaccuum and mopping the 1 kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms.
- Help clean the kitchen: wipe down counters, clean dishes and put them away (we have a dishwasher).
- Laundry and folding clothes.
- Occasional light cooking like warming up food or making light meals for our kids (like scrambled eggs).
- Sweep the yard and garage.
- Take out the trash.
We are hoping that applicants will have at least 2-4 years experience with housekeeping and cleaning.
We can work with applicants with limited English. Most important is we want someone honest, hardworking and reliable.
Schedule is Saturdays and Sundays only.
We prefer 4-6 hours on each day; total of 8 to 12 hours every weekend.
We are flexible on the start and end times on Saturdays and Sundays but want a consistent schedule every weekend.
We want to long-term housekeeper.
Start anytime.
