Smudge is a sweet, loving, fixed 8 year old boy who gets along with people and animals of all shapes, sizes, forms and ages. He isn't necessarily a lap puppers, but once he warms up to you he loves being by you and on the bed with you, and when he gets excited he smiles and wags his fuzzy tail for all he's worth! His only issue is potty/marking training- he comes from the pound as part of a whole group of dogs that were kept in a shed in their own filth. This was his life until he was six, and for the year after that he was stuck in the pound as his former owner tried to get custody back. Smudge is looking for someone who can either do a better job at potty/marking training then we have been able to, someone who is good doing diapers with him, or someone who has a yard and warm doghouse and plenty of time to spend every day with him, preferably with play dates inside.
