Ecstatic Dance Tacoma | Live DJ + Tea Lounge + Closing Sound Bath FREE YOUR MIND, FREE YOUR BODY, FREE YOUR SOUL! Ecstatic Dance is a freeform dance movement, expanding expression and connection. Naturally elevating to an ecstatic state via sound and movement therapy. Show up as you are, feel your body, feel your energy, and move throughout the experience as you feel called to. Ecstatic Dance Tacoma offers a safe and sacred container, holding space for healing, transformation, and pure joy to take place. DJs mindfully craft their sets to take the dancer on a journey though mindbody and soul. We begin with an opening circle drop-in meditation. During the dance we offer a tea lounge, aerial silks to play on, and areas for meditation + yoga + massage. The dance ends with a relaxing sound bath, and closing circle. Event Flow: 7:45P - Doors Open 8:00 - 8:20p - Opening Circle | Drop In Meditation 8:20 - 10:20p - Music Magic 10:20 - 11p - Sound Bath | Closing Circle Sound Bath: Bring warm layers to get cozy in. Sound bath is received laying down and can get a little chilly after dance. Please Bring: - Water container - Kangen drinking water provided! - Clothes for movement - Expect to sweat! - Suggested: Journal, crystals, or anything you enjoy meditating or manifesting with. - Flow toy's welcome. - Please come clean + fragrance free - light natural scents like essential oils are fine. Guidelines: It is our mission to cultivate a safe and sacred container for everyone to be able to fully drop in. We ask: - Respect the space and everyone in it. - Consensual dancing. - No intoxicants, be in control of your energy. *We do not discriminate against those who use plant medicine for medicinal or spiritual purposes. - No shoes on the dance floor. - No cellphones on the dance floor. - No conversations on the dance floor.
