Printmaking is believed to have begun as early as the 1st century AD, Since its start with woodblock printing, the medium’s ability to create and reproduce unique visual images has influenced everyone from book publishers to graphic designers. During this five-week workshop, students will explore different printing methods and tools and learn to design and create stamps, stencils, printing plates and silkscreens (to make their own t-shirts). No experience is necessary and all levels are welcome.
This five-week printmaking program runs Fridays from January 20th to February 17th from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM and is designed for ages 13 to 17. A $75.00 deposit will hold your spot and go toward full tuition of $200.00
