Hello! The Children's Lounge's grand opening is on December 27th. Children's Lounge is located at 1342 Riverside Rd SE Roanoke, Va 24014. The Children's Louge is the first childcare center that will offer extended hours childcare center. When our enrollment allows we will be open from 6 am to 11 pm Monday through Friday. We have a small center where our capacity caps at 45 children and most classrooms run at a lower teacher to child ratio than recommended by the Virginia Department of Social Services and the Department of Educations. We are so excited to fill a gap in childcare in the Roanoke Valley. There are many families that work a second shift job, jobs that have unpredictable hours, or even work 10 and 12-hour shifts. And typical childcare facilities hours cannot meet those needs, that is the basis of our mission at the Children Louge. We are passionate about providing childcare for families who often struggle to find quality childcare during the later hours. We employ a small but extremely qualified and loving staff to help your children learn, grow, and develop as they get older.
