The primary function of Cedar Crest, the Kansas Governor’s residence listed in the National Register of Historic Places, is to serve as the residence for the First Family of the State of Kansas. The Friends of Cedar Crest Association exists to cooperate with the First Family and the Governor’s Residence Advisory Commission for the preservation, restoration and enhancement of Cedar Crest, and to encourage public awareness of and contribution to the historic and cultural importance of Cedar Crest. FAQs What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? You can park directly in front of the house if parking is available. There's also a parking lot next to the west of the house. From there, you'll enter through the side gate. How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
