In this talk, Executive Leader Coach, David Kinnear will discuss how Ethic & Values are the foundations of creating great company culture. Values underpin everything we do in our personal and professional lives, yet, few of us think deeply about our values. For companies in the startup stage, values are especially important for establishing the company culture, hiring employees who will embrace that culture, and pushing authority to information within the organization. It follows that in order to establish a firm foundation for a new company, one must first establish the values that will guide the organization. From those values, we can build the vision, mission, and strategy that will serve our stakeholders. The room will be in the Business Building, Room 203, parking will be free in Lot 1 (https://www.cypresscollege.edu/campus-map-directions). We will be following best practices for COVID-19 to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable event! About the Presenter: David Kinnear is a Business Advisor, Mentor, and Executive Leader Coach who facilitates peer advisory boards of Business Owners, Company Presidents, General Managers, and Chief Executives dedicated to becoming better leaders. He has over three decades of leadership experience at companies such as Toshiba, Advanced Micodevices, Farchild Semiconductor, and United Technologies. David engages in economic sectors including Not-For-rofit Corporations, Industrial Manufactures, Medical and Phamaceutical Manufacturing, Employee Benefits, Logistics, Packaging, Lean Label Manufacturing, Distribution, Software and IT corporations.
