“What a Difference a Year Makes: Person-Centered Perceptions in a Pandemic”
Presented by Wendy Boren, BSN, RN, QIPMO
2020 is a year we’ll never forget! So many things changed, so many things were brought to light! We learned to look at life in a different way. Part 1 of this session will help you understand the resident’s perception of living through year one of the COVID pandemic, the staff’s perception of how your organization reacted and performed, and all the positive elements that come when tragedy strikes. Part 2 will move us forward and help us create new perceptions! You’ll learn how to rebuild and rewrite the professional caregiving narrative through resident and staff engagement while focusing on the very real, core values of autonomy, choice, and respect. This program will include interactive learning circles and hands-on participation. Get ready for a great discussion and formulate plans to move forward together.
Come join us for refreshments from 11:30 am-12:00 pm. Meeting starts promptly at 12:00 pm.
