Old-school Marshall Gibson Fender Rock. Tube sound not abrasive processor sound. Not Prog but intelligent thoughtful Hard Rock. I have a (very) chill spot in a rural forested pocket of The Columbia River, ripe for creative inspiration. I have heard only "crickets" from Longview/Kelso musicians and Portland fancies themselves a provincial mecca endall with no need to go anywhere else. I am a very schooled and experienced lead guitarist and keyboard composer. But fear not, I can't exactly "shred" guitar. My leads are more of the articulately-phrased melodic and often classically-styled variety. I like to express a feeling or outspoken articulate statement on the guitar rather than demonstrate virtuos skill, probably because it isn't there and/or people don't like it anymore. ISO Drummers, and Bassists first; then after that 2nd or 3rd guitarists (acoustic?), keys, sax, singer/songwriters, whatever. I just want a rhythm section before anyone else. Please inquire if you are willing to drive down I-5 to Rainier Oregon neighboring Longview Wa., for a day of good and exciting (not boring) improv by a true artist since early childhood. I began serious musical education at age 11 and haven't looked back, but was artistcially driven and drawing, buliding, and dreaming since age 4 or 5.
