I have an apartment overlooking 1st and Virginia street and noticed this guy (Sun 26th at 4pm and going!) with a snow shovel breaking ice and making clearings for pedestrians right at 1st and Virginia street. He had no emblem, county, state or otherwise marking himself as an employee of sorts..nothing but regular clothing. He had been doing this for hours! Had to go down to see the guy and find out what's going on...his name is Derreck (sp) lives there and is doing this for nothing! Doesn't want people to slip and fall. One great human being!! HATS OFF TO DERRECK!!!
