Hi there, Please read entire post. I’m looking for the PERFECT home for my little pitbull puppy. He is 9 weeks old and unfortunately my older dog does not get along with him like I’d hoped. I hate to even be writing this or thinking about rehoming him because he is truly a sweetheart, but I’ve got to think about my other dog and her needs and happiness. I’ve named him Jax, but of course he’s so young that he doesn’t really know his name and that can be changed. His mom is a pitbull and his dad is a pitbull Australian Shephard mix from what the original owners told me. Pitbull puppies are extremely energetic and need a TON of training. I’m going to be extremely picky with who he goes to, and I will not give him up to just anyone. I need someone that can give him the time and attention he needs and deserves. I don’t want him to be in a crate for 8 hours a day. You must work from home, be a stay at home mom/dad, or be a household that has someone home for most of the day. He is very high energy, and needs to work on the puppy biting, so not sure a home with small kids is best. We’ve been working on potty training, but at 9 weeks still has a ton of accidents so I just want you to be prepared for that. We are attempting crate training but have only have had him a week so not much progress. He is a huge cuddler when he’s not running around like crazy. Loves to be right on your lap, or under the covers snuggled up next to you. Otherwise, he has had his first shots and is healthy. I am not trying to make a profit off him so only asking what I’ve spent so far which was the original rehoming fee (three hundred), his first vet bill (one hundred) and his crate and food (fifty dollars). Total of four hundred fifty dollars. I have him set up with Thrive pet care, and must be willing to continue that (unless they let me cancel). It’s $10 a month, plus 10% off all visits and shots, and unlimited vet visits. It’s their puppy package, which you would need anyway with getting all his shots the first 6 months.
