Here are the top 4 stories in Atlanta today: An Atlanta toddler who was abducted by her father six weeks ago has been found safe and returned home just in time for Christmas. On Dec. 22, investigators found 3-year-old Harmony Hill in Mississippi with her father, Nickien Collins, who does not have custody of her. Collins was arrested and Hill was returned home. The family took to social media to compliment Atlanta police and Investigator D. Scott's hard work to bring their loved one back. (WSB Atlanta)Thousands of travelers struggled with delayed and canceled flights over Christmas weekend as airlines across the country kept their planes grounded. Delta, United, Jet Blue, and Alaska airlines canceled hundreds of U.S. flights per day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with an additional 1,000 delayed flights on Christmas Eve alone. Atlanta-based Delta said a combination of issues forced the cancelations, including the impact of the omicron variant and bad weather in some parts of the country. (WSB Atlanta)A camera captured an Amazon delivery driver smashing into a mailbox, and now the homeowner is demanding an apology and a new mailbox from the retail giant. According to Windy Wyche, her home surveillance camera recorded the driver's van backing into the mailbox and driving away as she came outside waving her hands at him. Amazon offered Wyche $250 for a new mailbox, but she is fighting the company for the full cost of repairs, including new cement. (FOX 5 Atlanta)The Fox Theatre in Atlanta has postponed multiple shows set to run this month due to rising COVID-19 cases in the area. The theatre has told patrons to hold onto their tickets for these shows, including the Widespread Panic concerts scheduled for this week. The show dates have been moved to Aug.. 10 through 13, 2022, but if ticketholders would like a refund, they can contact the theatre via phone or email by by Friday, Feb. 4.
