Hi job seekers! I am looking for a very responsible, very organized and flexible personal assistant/assistant for work and home tasks. I am in Laguna but there would be some driving to Newport Beach to get mail, Costa Mesa or Newport for errands etc. Im really looking for someone who is organized enough that I never have to wonder what the status of something is (or if the dry cleaning got dropped off!). Someone who will look for answers before asking. Someone who uses lists, knows how to stay organized and can help me - and use technology to its maximum capability to share files, stay organized, etc. Experience listing on eBay is a plus but not required. Knowing how to cook is definitely a plus but also not required. I run a virtual company and teach and I work from home. I need help with household tasks and errands. My schedule changes sometimes last minute so flexibility is good. There will be some house projects that would get your hands dirty like painting things or vacuuming between house cleanings or organizing or cleaning. I do have a house cleaner so it’s not heavy duty cleaning, but making beds, putting dishes away and tidying up each time you’re at the house would be important. So is watering plants, that kind of thing. Hours will range anywhere from 5 to 20 in any given week. When there are projects, it could hit the 20 mark or more. Requirements: Must be able to write well Very organized Self starter Must be able to use apps with an iPhone to communicate really well Have solid Internet access and reliable transportation Pass and maintain a clean background check Must maintain confidentiality Must have a valid CA drivers license and your own insurance Must be kind but assertive getting things done The ability to cook or list on eBay is a plus but not required! I need someone who is upbeat :) I am and appreciate the same.. someone who is accountable for their own work and is good with internet research and staying on top of things. Some examples of the contract position duties include: Coming 2 to 4 times a week to drop off mail, drop off packages, pick up returns, organize my daughters memory boxes, identify and note things that need to be cleaned and organized and work with me on a plan to do it, household tasks like putting groceries away, emptying the dishwasher, making beds and light cleaning between professional cleanings, bigger projects like painting different small things as needed or hosing off decks, lamp cleaning, cleaning outdoor furniture before guests come, doing returns or pick ups for me, handling some elements of giftgiving and if you can cook or know how to do eBay that’s even better!! I need somebody with superb attention to detail. I have a halftime shared custody LOL if a hypoallergenic very friendly dog and a tortoise. Basically I need help with every day life! I’ve had an assistant for the last 10 years but she is phasing into retirement. I’m very open to questions and very friendly and very upbeat but after you know the job I need someone who’s a self-starter, knows what to do and can be flexible with their schedule and mine. Sometimes I will have last minute work employees for my small business over and may have to move the times we do work at the house / home office or even ask for an occasional Saturday or Sunday helping hand.
