Hi! I have a 1 year old mix puppy. Her mom is of the pit family. Not sure if she was a pit or boxer, just something like that. The vet seems to think she is mixed with great Pyrenees. I rescued her last year from a family I did some work for. She was chained up to the leg of their trampoline. Never played with. So I told them I would take her if they didn't want her and they were okay with that. She is a sweet dog, she loves to run and loves to be petted. If you stop she will nudge you to do it again. She is really quiet and kind of shy. Shortly after I rescued her she started showing signs of mange. We quickly got her on medicine. She still has it but is doing much better. She lives at my boyfriend due to me living with my mom and we have 3 dogs. I knew she wouldn't want me to bring another one home so my boyfriend let me keep her there. She absolutely loves his other dog who is male, but does not do well with my female dog when I bring her over. They tolerate each other now. But when I take her to the vet she doesn't growl or go after the other animals at all. I honestly think she would do best with someone who can give her lots of attention and love. Somewhere where she can run and maybe without other pets or kids. She does fine around our kids but I think she would do best to be the only one. She isn't fixed but has had her rabbies vaccine. She is on medicine right now which will come with her. You may have to get more later if the mange continues to come back. The vet was hoping that the older she gets that it will go away. We take her to Royers in Worthington but obviously you can change vets if you wish. Her name is Bailey. The only reason we are re homing her is because my boyfriend is moving into a smaller home and can't have her there and I can't bring her to my house. Serious inquires only. If I do not think you are fit for her I have no problem not giving her to you. I am located in Ellettsville but my boyfriend lives in Martinsville. He will be moving to Paragon in the next week.
