Twenty-eight-year old Medical equipment supply company looking for energetic and honest person. Will assist with installations of various medical equipment (patient lifts, stair lifts, etc.) and complete basic service calls on the equipment that we offer to the disabled population in homes, schools, group homes, etc.). Most of the work is in MA and RI but some in CT as well. Will leave from the office in Lakeville in a company van to complete the jobs of the day. You are paid while driving from one job to the next. Number of hours and days per week will vary according to workload and needs. Will likely work 2-4 days a week M-F as needed. The position could turn into a full-time job as demands increase, and if desired. Physically fit individuals a plus. Very good position for semi-retired fit person who is looking to subsidize income and wants to stay busy doing honorable work for the disabled population. Experience and comfort with general power tools (drills, cut-off saw, hand tools, etc.) necessary. Looking for that "get it done" handyman type who would like to belong to a team that has been doing great work for people with disabilities for many years. Requires a state CORI background check, a clean driver's license, must have reliable transportation to get to the Lakeville office. Living in or close to Lakeville MA a big plus. Promptness, being polite and courteous to customers and fellow employees, wearing supplied company jerseys, and apprpropriate clothing and footwear, strong communication skills, and clean language, are all expected and required at all times. Drugs and alcohol are not permitted. Smoking on customer's site, in office, and in company vehicles, not allowed. Covid appropriate precautions required at times.
